biography

I grew up in Maryland, and graduated from Reed College, in Portland, Oregon. After college, I worked as a Research Psychologist at the National Institute of Mental Health's Clinical Psychobiology Branch in the early nineties.

I completed my graduate training at the University of Denver's Graduate School of Professional Psychology. My pre-doctoral internship was at the Counseling Center of the State University of New York at Buffalo. In 1998, I was awarded the Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree and started my private practice.
